How You Could Transform Lives:

Every contribution counts, bringing us closer to a future where diabetes is no longer a threat. Children, previously dependent on multiple daily insulin injections, can now lead a healthier life with simpler and less invasive treatment options. Together, we can make an impact that lasts a lifetime. Donate today for a healthier tomorrow.

India leads the world in the number of child diabetes cases

In 2022, around 95,600 children below the age of 14 years in India suffer from type 1 diabetes.

Note: According to Data published by the Indian Council of Medical Research (ICMR)

Just 15 days after her birth, Ivana was diagnosed with Neonatal Diabetes. Despite receiving four high doses of insulin every day, her blood sugar levels could not be controlled.

Madras Diabetic Research Foundation:

At the Madras Diabetes Research Foundation (MDRF), through detailed genetic analysis, medical experts have discovered that some children diagnosed with type 1 diabetes actually have neonatal diabetes, a condition that can be managed more effectively with specific medications instead of insulin.
